Question 30amp to 20amp adapter at home

We have a new 2014 Microlite 21FBRS. We are having new windows put in our home next week. My husband and I are hoping to utilize the trailer at home for our 3 dogs so they stay out of the way of the installers. it is a 3 day project. temps will be in the mid to upper 70s. We have a 20 amp outlet in our home. Can we get an adapter somewhere 30 to 20 that may work. or any other suggestions? The refridgerator will work off the propane and a few of the lights. what else would? Otherwise is there any opening we could use to run an extension cord through for a fan? We have to keep the door shut. Thanks for any and all advice.

As close as you nearest Walmart store.
Look around in the Automotive section.

I use one of these (I hope the picture can be seen) when I'm parked at home and I've been able to run my AC (13.5 K BTU), refrigerator, lights, and several other things (radio, chargers, etc) on electric without tripping my 20 amp breaker. I purchased the adapter at a local Walmart.

Although I'm not an electrician, I don't think running your fridge, some lights, and a fan would be a problem.

Doesn't that have the wrong male end on it for a normal house 20 amp plug?

I believe you are correct. (Maybe I should be using my glasses).

The adapter I have has the normal three-prong, household male plug which makes it a 30 amp to 15 amp adapter that I have plugged into a 20 amp outlet. Sorry for the confusion.

I just wired a 30amp receptacle for the trailer on the side of the garage to a 12-3 romex run to a 20 amp breaker in the garage. Can and have run the ac on it, but never tried anything else like the microwave as it would no doubt trip the breaker.

Silly question but how big are your dogs?

Mine are medium sized and destructive so if we are headed to a place where we can't have our dogs with us we just leave them at the doggie hotel all together.

. Pup ups are 15 pounds each. They are well behaved enough we can leave them at home or in the camper for up to 8 hours. We will be coming home at lunch time to check on them though. In the past we will set up a time recording on our laptop PC and review how they spent their day. So fa so good. One dog ate a bag of carrots off of the counter once though. Let's just say it was a colorful day on his output.
