30WFKSS storage concerns

Packing up for a trip. Realized that with my front kitchen -- including utensils and foods -- most of my trailer weight is way in front of axles. Should I focus remaining packing over axles and behind?

We bought the same model in the "IK" version...Island Kitchen....which means the kitchen is over the axels. Some shy away from our model because one must walk through the bedroom to get to the kitchen. Not an issue for us.

I'm trying to remember what's over the axels with the FK model...isn't it the living area? Don't you have a lot of overhead storage cabinets? If so, try to store (and yes this may be odd, but) dishes, canned foods, etc. in those. Those cabinets have a lip on the front edge, so things shouldn't slide up to and force open the doors.

I've never seen so much storage in these TTs! We haven't touched the cabinets over the recliners, over the bed, and only one cabinet over the sleep sofa (throws, etc.)

I'm not *even* qualified to advise you re tongue weight, just offering an alternative option for storage.

Congrats on a beautiful TT!

HERmit, thanks for your input. This is exactly what we were discussing --- using those overhead compartments. Just seems weird. At least our deviate thoughts have been justified. Still wishing we had looked closer at the island kitchen. Love the front kitchen in that it keeps the pitter-pattering little feet away from the stove. Do you have the double slide-out living room that is so huge?
