Thank you everyone! I added a number of things to my list that I missed.


As for lug nuts and tire pressure, I check that at home between trips. If I am out for a week or more I do check them while out. If it is a short trip I wait till I am home again. I also keep my Reese sliding hitch and king pin well greased with white lithium grease.


Speaking of grease. I have plastic decorative wheel covers. When I remove the center hub there is a grease fitting to grease the wheel bearings. How often do you grease your bearings? Had a friend loose an axil because they didn't grease their bearings.

I suggest you ID your axles and then pick up 4 seals from a parts house.

Disassemble, clean and then repack each bearing.

After that add grease once or twice a year depending on mileage and how you feel about it.
