Was out off the beaten path last week and attempted to start the A/C with a Yamaha EF2400ishc and it did not start it. I only tried the one time. Fridge was being run by propane at the time. Mind you it was really hot out, 35 degrees celsius. That being said, can anyone point me in the right direction for the proper hard start capacitor for the A/C unit in 2013 Salem 26tbud?

2400 is the maximum, 2000 is the rated output at 16.7-20 amps. Gonna try again while converter breaker is shut off. I've read countless posts with people having no issues running A/C with this genny...

I have ran my 13.5 in my flagstaff and it worked with a 2000 watt gennie but all breakers had to be off. I got tired of that and bought one I can run everything.
I'm getting a full 30 amps now and not looking back.
Please feel welcome to try a hard start it may be the answer.
Spp6 suppco I believe.
Remember altitude pkays a big role in this to if you live in upper elevations.
A gennie at sea level may start the a/c everytime.
But in higher altitudes it won't.

I will throw on in and see if I can get away with just shutting off converter breaker. FYI, I am 600 feet above sea level...
