A few have asked so here it is Memphis Tornados

The recent storms in the memphis area.

I watched the one in Southaven happen and it was to close for comfort.

Map shows my home and the red blob shows where the tornado hit.

We have very minor roof damage and was lucky.

It then went back up and hit memphis where three lost there lives.

Gee...glad it missed you!

DANG!!

Glad you and yours are all OK. I'd hate to see a perfectly good travel trailer go to waste and you know we can't run this place without you!

I am so glad you and your family made it through that relatively unscathed. It must have been terrible to live through. Thankfully you are OK.

Glad you are ok. I've been very close to several tornadoes myself...and got lucky. They catch you completely off-guard and hit quickly. I've seen the aftermath of an F5 that dropped on our area last summer. The town it hit is still wiped out.

That is WAY too close for comfort.

Wife and I are going to come close to you too. We'll be heading down to Gulf Shores, AL around the 26th of Feb and stopping at either the Audobon Point RV park or EZ Daze RV Park. We haven't decided on which one to stay at yet. They're both close to I-55.

We have friends living in the Memphis area (Germantown) and we always stop for at least an overnighter to visit with them anytime we head south.

geeze louis that was close, important thing is you and your family were unscathed and still here.

we had one touch down in our backyard in pensacola, it took our fithwheel rv and flipped it over. left the truck and cars undamaged right next to it.

WOW

if you need a calmer place we have room for another camper.

Great idea. We're always ready to meet other RV'ers. I guess I'm going to have to decide where to stay soon. The last time we were visiting the area we stayed at the Agricenter campground...won't make that mistake again.

Next week we plan to go out to our storage lot and bring the fifth wheel out of hibernation and check all the systems, with the exception of the plumbing of course. We won't dewinterize until we get in your area.

Good Trailer inspection finds no damage.

Both of those parks you mentioned are very new. We have even talked about trying them out even though they are so close to us.

Audabon is on hwy 51 between Church rd and Goodman rd

The other park is right off of !-55 and Church and is across the street from Southaven RV.
