That thing is a weapon! We spent more time daring people to touch their tongue to it. Haha

X2 never worked for me either.

The fan, a table top bug zapper and the occasional usage of the tennis racket zapper.

Reads like you have lost the vent pipe cap.
Have you looked up there?

No, but I will tomorrow. It's presently in storage, but that might be it. We've had the trailer for over a year, and just started getting them.
Thanks,
Gary

I see, this is a problem I have seen on plastic outhouses which have no cap.

Rather a nasty deal when you lift the seat and get swarmed.

Give it a try!

We were in Amarillo last week and the wind was a constant 15-20 MPH and the flies were unbelievable. Wind did not seem to slow them down much. There was also some kind of cattle lots not far from us I believe.
We were at Oasis RV in Amarillo the first of September and the flys were thick. I hunted Teal for a few days and left town.

That's the place. Then you know what I'm talking about. It is hard to describe just how many flies there were. We left as soon as we could.

I agree on the fly strips!! 3X! Have always used 'em. Of course...I'M ALWAYS the first one to forget then turnaround and walk right into the damned things...everytime!!!

Anyway, they can be had at good ol' Ace hardware, or Tractor Supply I think...
These and the salt gun, the swatter, and a few pet frogs should do the trick!

To keep flies from landing on the food I use a screen cover.
