A question to ask yourself

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you were.

Very good, thought provoking question. At times I "think" I'm somewhere around 20-30 y/o. Then when I try to do really strenuous activities my body reminds me I'm not. I try to give it all the things it wants, pizza, beer, ice cream. You'd think it would be happy then and keep up with my mind.

I gave up on trying. Too much effort.
Besides, I'd loose all my Sr. Discounts, have to buy all new clothes, go out and get a (shudder) job.
Wife would expect more sex, and I couldn't be the Grumpy Ole SOB that I am now!!!
More fun being and "Old Fart"
69 years young on Dec. 7.

Jim, at our age we can't get into trouble. We can just blame it on "dementia onset".

I think I'm 25, even though I'm 64. Even with bad knees, I still surf, snowboard and mountain bike.

That shouldn't be too difficult, given some of the work ethics I've seen from some of the "young'ns" . I cut down an apple tree for my eldest son last weekend - he used the B&D "Gator" to take some of the smaller branches off the mains. I was hefting the chainsaw. He didn't offer to trade.
It's hard to believe 20, even 30 years have gone by since certain things have happened in my life. I feel like I'm still in my 40's, but my body tells me "ain't no way!" Bein' as though I had to sign up for Medicare this past birthday, I guess I need to start acting my age. DW is almost 10 years younger than me.... trying to keep up with her has kept me young for many years - either that or it is a sure fire way to put me in an early grave! [emoji15]
