A synopsis of our 2012 RV season Part 2

The next big highlight was the FROG Rally in Elkhart, IN. It was great seeing FROGís we had met in Branson, MO the previous year and meeting new FROGís this year. Bob Byrne, the CFIC (Chief FROG In Charge) and his wife Cindy really put in a lot of hours making this a great and unforgettable rally. While at the rally we toured the Cedar Creek factory and took the Rolliní on the River tour which included a stop at the RV Hall of Fame.

FROG's preparing to enjoy one of the many fabulous meals served at the rally.

The RV Hall of Fame has some beautiful and unique old RV's.

After leaving the rally we headed northeast to Niagara Falls, NY. I must admit I didnít think I would be impressed with the falls but I was blown away by the beauty of the river and the waterfall. Hereís a link to the thread w/pics I started about our trip to Niagara. Niagara Falls

The remainder of our season was spent camping in state parks and COE campgrounds. Normally we take three long trips per season but with the price of diesel fuel at 4 dollars plus per gallon we could only handle two long trips this year.

And so the sun sets on another great RV season. Photo taken at Carlyle Lake.

It never ends here in Arizona!
No rain and sunny days and comfortable nights.

Here is a link to my 10 day forecast.

Why would all those Rv'ers be eating indoors when their natural habitat is lounging by a campfire with cocktails in hand?
