My wife and I were tossing around the idea of getting a golf cart or a small scooter to take with while camping to make quick runs around the grounds. Do a lot of people have these or will it be more of a headache than it's worth? What's your opinion?
Many campgrounds permit the carts. Some require proof of insurance and the operator signs a waiver. We bought one just for Fort Wilderness. Well worth it to us and it makes getting around and parking a breeze. There are many that don't allow them so you really need to check before arriving.
We have also considered another way of getting around but we want something that will take us to various sites without having to use the toad. We are considering a couple of 300-400cc scooters. and hopefully just haul in bed of toad

We don't need something with that much power. I have a 100 mini bike that was too big for me when I was little that I thought about cleaning up. 😛 It might be too little for me now. Lol.
I vote scooter, most can be street legal if you need to run to town. Golf carts are nice, but lots of CG don't allow them. No state park will allow them at all. But scooters can go anywhere.
We are wanting house our scooter to go site seeing and visit town
