AAA vs Good Sam

I know this has been discussed many times, there are other forums too, but I want to renew or change my RV Roadside Assistance.

I presently have AAA, started with them in 2012 for my classic cars and last year added the AAA RV Premier, when we got the motorhome. In the past few month, we have acquired a 5th wheel and sold our motorhome.

I've spoken to AAA and Good Sam this morning, to compare apples to apples. Coach Net at this time, is not an option. If I lived elsewhere, I would consider CN.

I also spoke to my long time friend that owns an automotive repair shop and two towing businesses. I have taken care of his business computers for a number of years and get some very good perks on repair work and local towing.

He is not contracted with AAA, but have a neighbor that owns a towing business that is. My friend will not do AAA, they do not pay well. He said he has towed for Good Sam and Coach Net, had no issues with them.

I want the same coverage I have now with AAA, there are very little differences between AAA and Good Sam, except for $60 per year, AAA is $201, Good Sam is $115 first year, $140 starting second year.

I live in Washington state and plan on a nation wide tour early next year. Right now and after we get back, most traveling will be on the west side of the states.

Which company would be the best to have for my personal and classic cars and RV?

Thank you..........
