AC and Microwave

Wow it feels like forever since my last post but I have been busy using my TT in my spare time....51 days so far this year!!!!

My question is should I have to shut off my AC unit while using my microwave? I tripped the main breaker 2 times. When I say the main i mean the one on the campground end. Nothing inside the TT.

Lets get some great feedback.

It's happened to me with our previous Jayco TT. If I was using both it would blow when the compressor kicked in.

It's tripping because you're exceeding 30A in the camper. The A/C draws 11-12, the microwave the same, the water heater on electric draws 10, the convertor 5-6...easy to exceed when running the A/C.

I have a hard-wired Progressive Industries surge protection with a readout of the amperage draw. A lot less trips of the main breaker now.
