Question Adco Covers Vs. Eavestrough Spouts

Does anyone have a solution to putting an Adco cover over a trailer that has the eaves waterspout extentions on the corner of the trailer? I am sure that if left as is, the spouts will wear or poke right through the cover if I don't do something. The spouts don't appear to be removable plus I would want them on when the trailer is uncovered during use to keep the water stream off the walls as much as possible.

Suggestions?

I use tennis balls. Cut an X into them and pop them over the spouts. Works well to protect the cover.
