I am looking in one of our supplier catalogs, there 6 different manufactures in the one book that I have. Two of the manufactures offer these locks with Multi-Cam Lock, this means it will accommodate 5 different cams, the cam is the device that is on the back of the cylinder that keeps the storage door closed once it is locked. In this catalog the locks are called "LOCKS FOR MAILBOX SECURITY" Just a fancy name for furniture lock. All these locks are DISC tumbler locks, the cheapest money can buy. The next step up is a PIN tumbler lock but the cylinder is much larger like the one on your front door to your house. I don't think you would want that on a storage door on your RV. I am going to make some phone calls to day and see what I can find out. Just give me a little time and let me see what kind of info I can come up with.

A lot of people prefer these.

I like these just for the looks.

And here are some tubular locks.

Just do a Google search for Combination Cam Locks and you'll find more than you ever wanted to know.

Checked with Distributor

I made a phone call to one of our Distributors, all of these type of cabinet locks are made the same, the only difference between them is the metal that the key is made of and the finish of the lock. So It was recommend to replace the lock with a different manufacture that way your camping neighbor can't help themselves to your storage area. Now one thing to remember if you install any of the locks that are shown above they will be exposed to all types of weather and dirt because they are unprotected for the elements, the thing you don't want in your locks is dirt and sand. I wish I had better news, but this all I have. the other thing is that with these type of disc tumbler, they can only make about 100 key changes so some where there duplicates and duplicates.
