I was in mine trying to find a hidden GFCI, had to give the knee a break so I sat in the recliner for a few while listing to some classic rock.

Got tired of doing it and wondering why we were paying for a condo AND storage fees for 6-7 months....so we went full time a year ago. Now we sit and wonder what took us so long.........

The wife, baby, dog, and I sat in the camper for a while this afternoon planning what needs done before our first trip. This will be the first camping season for our little munchkin and just one of several for the furry daughter. We can't wait.

We spend time in ours right in the back yard behind the garage every spring. I sit out in it every week end while I'm doing mods and tidying up the "poor craftsmanship" I find in whatever RV we have at the moment. We got the new 8528IKWS last October and towed it home and covered it for storage. We are SO READY for spring and our April trip to Myrtle Beach. I just cleared a path through the snow out to the highway with my snowblower today. I wanted to remove the cover but DH found a leak under our kitchen sink in the house. had to fix that.
When I used to boat, all our group that boated together used to trailer our 26 footers to one of our driveways and park em side by side and spend the last weekend before storing them, "Yard Yachting" . Anchors deployed and fenders over the side and all.

Oh I think you might be able to figure out we had 3 different boats each bigger than the last. All were "Aquaholic" 1,2 and 3...........

Got back from 2 months in FL with new RV and planing an outing in mid April. Spent whole weekend doing mod's and adding things back, surge protection unit, hold down kit on awning, peg board in under belly, TPS units on new tires. Now wondering if I should put generator in RV prep box or leave it in truck and mount a plug on RV. Yea we all do it and we all want to go camping.

I sit in mine, in the driveway, to get away so I can think. Usually about camping, sometimes about work, but never about quitting camping. Just like it too much.

Thanks for making this thread! I laughed reading it. I've been in mine almost all of the past 2 weekends. Doing all of the little "getting ready" things.

The kids think I lost my mind, but my wife understands.

LOL. Here in Colorado, we slept in ours last night in the driveway. Waiting for camping season to start.

We don't have kids, but my two dogs know when it's time to pack up and hit the road!! I barely make the packing list before they are doing cartwheels!

Pulled it home Friday. Sunday afternoon It was -10degrees C and windchill was bitter. We cleaned up for the first trip and talked about the summer ahead! Then reality set in while outside cleaning the basement that it is cold out! I left it winterized till closer to the first trip!
