Advice needed. For selecting gas class A

We've narrowed our search to GT3 30x3 or GT3 24W. We like the shorter coach length for its ability to use smaller spaces, but some say 'that the drive will be "squirrelly"'' and we're wondering about the folding king size bed. How much difference is there in handling between a 158 inch and a 190 inch wheel base? Also any observations about the folding mattress are aoreaciated. How important are the extra 5 feet in length to keeping the wife and I from killing each other after a few weeks on the road?

This will be our first RV.

First, I advise against a gas Class A. Beyond that, Tiffin makes the best Class A's. I know price is always important, but a dollar today is cheaper than a grand tomorrow.

That is a VERY broad statement to make. Care to expand a lot?
