Air bag suggestions"

Hello Folks

I'm looking for some Air Bags with air compressor ability for my Dodge Big Horn 1500, as now I'm towing a 2015 Wild Cat Max 5th wheel 24ft.

Ungraded from a 22ft. Surveyor TT

Was looking for Air Bags that are quality best and foremost !

Any suggestions from those of you that have installed or had them installed would be most helpful.

Brand?
Quality?
Issues?

thanks for any responses, I'll chek back later since I'm here camping a KOA in Santa Paula, Ca.

I can't comment on air bags but also check out timbrens. I have them and if your just looking for a little help with leveling, they work great without having to fill/adjust air bags. They are cheaper too. But if you are set on air bags you can't go wrong there either.

Have had the Airlift 5000 on last two trucks, Toyota Tundra and currently on F250. Both with on board air compressor and remote. Never any problems, they stay at 5 psi when unloaded and run 35-40 psi when loaded. Very happy with quality and ride.

Think I have Firestone brand air bags. Not sure on the compressor. It was a package deal. Whatever they are 3 more have bought them. I didn't climb back underneath it.

Air Bags

I just installed Firestone Air bags a few weeks ago on my 2015 Tundra. I had them on my last truck also a 2009 Tundra. This time I went with the onboard compressor. So its only a small window to give a review but I love the compressor so far. The air bags on my last truck worked great so I installed the new ones on this truck.

I put the TLC with remote control about 3 years ago. I would do it again if I needed them. Easy install and can adjust air pressure while on the road. You would be surprised how much a few pounds can chnge a ride.

I have AirLift 5000 on Ford F250. Did not get on board compressor. I ran airlines from each bag that exit near rear license plate. I use Craftsman hand held battery air compressor. Did not see need for on board air compressor. When I tow the Rig 55lbs. When I don't tow 15lbs. I never adjust it once aired up...

Firestone...a little more money but traditionally the best. Saw one bag hammered many miles deflated on a class c, before the internal snubbers. Fixed the air line and reaired perfect. Only had one issue on a lifted pickup with the no- drill bracket. It kept getting bent up. Had to beef the bracket twice. I love the old 2071 brackets best...
