Air bnb?

Anyone ever rented their camper out, on your property, on air bnb? We put it on as we were in path of totality for Monday's eclipse, and are debating leaving it up for rent. I'm way less concerned with problems when it's in my yard.
Anybody with airbnb experience?

Air bed n breakfast I believe. I have no experience with it, but people were renting single bedrooms for $75+/ night for the eclipse so we put it on for $400/night. Someone messaged me and needs a place to stay for work purposes for two months....prime camping season time, but we pocket about $9000. I can rent a cabin for a few nights if we have a time for a getaway...

Better check local laws, Here we can not stay in camper in driveway only can have power connected and slides out when loading for trip.

I've been thinking of doing this as well. I recently cleared some of my property and made a campsite that I listed on hipcamp. So far no takers, but was also thinking about listing it on airbnb with the camper to increase my options for rental.

Me personally, a site like this is something I would be interested in even if a bit more expensive than a normal CG. 1/3 acre waterfront campsite in north Florida on the Santa Fe river near the Ichetucknee river. Over 20 major springs within 50 miles with paddling, swimming, tubing, and cave diving all around.

I need to look into the airbnb thing again, my big challenge will be getting the DW to allow strangers in the camper.

Yes thinking of a stranger staying in my camper is tough for me. I'm not a desperate need of money by any means, but an extra eight to $9000 also is appealing. To add complexity to the issue, we moved into our new home a year and a half ago it went from camping on average of 65 nights a year, down to camping 7 to 8 nights a year! It's been killing me see in my camper just sit as I do still owe a little bit on it.

I spend a lot of time in camper on trips, not even a family member is staying in my camper. My camper sleeps 2, DW and me, maybe great granddaughter buts that's it. It's your camper do what you like. It's just not me.
