Alaska ferry

Has anybody taken the ferry from Washington to Alaska with your RV? How did you like it? I know sleeping in your RV is against rules, but could you do it anyway?

I am sure you could sleep in your RV (unless they have them in an area so you could not get to them) but if the rules say no.................

Sleeping in your unit is not allowed, It is below decks in the ferry. They do check them, and most of the time they will not let you go down while underway, We were able to go down supervised to check on our cat, It is a long ferry ride, You would want to get a room to sleep in for that length of a trip. Beautiful scenery. Been there 5 times and getting ready to go back for a full summer.

You can get all the info from the Alaska ferry website. Times, schedules and fees. If you have questions you can call them. They are very helpful and will assist you in planning your ferry trips.

Do you get to drive your RV on and off the ferry or does someone do it for you? I always hate to trust someone else with my unit.
