200-300 miles is plenty for us. We usually quit at 3 or 4pm.

And I never disputed it, when I put my numbers out there for averages, I included my stoppage time separately. I planned on 13 hours which would have been just about 50 MPH after it was all broke down.

I wish we had that option, but sadly we're both back at work today, and really needed the day when we returned to get settled back at the homestead. Our only regret is that we took a very long trip, and we spent a significant amount more time at the campground than we thought we would because of the baby. If we had known that was how it was going to play out, I hardly doubt we would have driven 1200 miles.
