Am i paranoid?
Taking a business trip to Nashville this past week, traveling I40. I was running about 75 ( i know the speed limit is 70 ) i look in the review and see a guy in the Hammer lane pulling a 5er. This guy blew my doors off had to be running 85 +. my thought immediately went to are his tires rated for that kind of speed and i hope he has years of experience towing. gratefully i didn't see him further up the road in trouble. Myself i just really wouldn't feel comfortable towing at those speeds. How about you ?

I don't worry about how others tow their TT. I am amazed at some of them.

Must have been putting on makeup or running late for cg check in! Hee hee hee hee hee hee.
Just kidding , me personally wouldn't be putting me or others in danger. Obviously they have no respect for other people's lives and putting them in danger. IMPO Just my 2 cents.

He's probably already been on the forums complaining about RV tire quality. J/K. The Chinese tires really are crap and I can't imagine he'll make it for long without having a blowout driving like that.

He is probably the same guy that will post comments like..."My new diesel truck tows my trailer, like it doesn't even know it's there!"

It is amazing how some are so ignorant to their safety, safety of their family, and safety of other families on the roadways!

I'm not condoning the guy's behavior but it also proves the fact that the instant someone's rig hits 66 MPH it doesn't explode.

Towing
The worst I have seen so far this year has been RV delivery drivers. I saw one yesterday that was going 80 on i75 with a 5er. headed south. I never see one going less than 70.

One thing I notice is those that blow by me seem to do it several times also.

Probably gets 15MPG pulling his 15K Fiver at 85, too. He's probably weighed his rig and made sure he's under on all numbers to ensure "safety", though.

Yes I am old! I do not drive fast. I am happy at 60-65 towing or not. In my old truck it's the feel good speed...it has 4:10 gears and a diesel and that's 2000-2200 RPMs and that's a happy spot.
Whoever is going slower than me is an idiot and whoever is going faster is a maniac!

Sorry I'm one of those idiots that drive 55-62 sweet spot at 62 with my 4.10 gearing but I also live in California and found the CHP won't mess with you at that speed...

No matter how many of them I see doing that, and it's a lot..........every one of them, I see again many miles down the road, pulling into the gas station at almost the same time I do.
Just seems to destroy the entire Laws of Physics, doesn't it?

Doing a first article test on the components to insure the eventual buyer gets a sound unit.
Have to applaud them...

Doubt it. Never ceases to amaze how going a set speed would cause accident I stay in the right and drive carefully. I watch what is ahead of me and behind me I keep the right distance from what is in front of me. and obey all traffic laws. I have not had a ticket in 25 years so I guess I do something right I have driven in foreign countries and have been in NO accidents nor have I ever caused any. I still have the same car insurance company I had since high school and I bet I pay cheaper premiums than most people my age After saying all that I must be doing something right.
