You're right - the Amarillo runway is 13,502 feet long - it's referenced as one of the worlds longest runway - for once, something in Texas is not the worlds biggest , or in this case, the longest.

Going from memory.

Safe and sound trip! Wally World was well it was Wally World! Pretty loud as mentioned before but easy and did the trick. There were about ten travelers, 4 campers, ( one was a brand new Prevost towing a matching enclosed car hauler, really sweet) 4 big rigs and 2 horse trailers.
The winds across the plains on to Fort Worth how ever were pretty dang tuff. Not as bad as WY but will be a second place in my books.
Off and exploring tomorrow and meet with some buddies. Thank for all the advise and comments, really helped this newbie out!

You can always go around to the truck entrance at the side or rear of the store. You won't find an issue with the overhead poles there, since trucks are generally 13'6" high and have to get in.

I'd call the store, though, or check the link that someone posted to see what their rules are.
Exactly. Our local Walmart has the clearance bar at the car entrance but not at the truck delivery entrance, where the slab is reinforced. Delivery trucks have to have access.
