An RV Movie

Has anybody seen the new movie The Leisure Seeker starring Donald Sutherland? It’s about a couple traveling in their vintage Winnebago. Supposedly it was released in January 2018 but I haven’t seen it at any theaters near me. Perhaps it was a real stinker.

According to IMDB, it hit theaters in the US on March 11th and has a gross of only $133K... Hard to know how many screens it appeared on.

Opening Weekend USA:

$113,708, 11 March 2018, Limited Release

Only 32% on Rotten Tomatoes but had an 81% Viewer score and I expect it left theaters shortly after it arrived, but worthwhile to keep a look out. Probably will hit Disc very soon.

Surprisingly, it was filmed in 2016 and only made it to theaters now...

I'd probably check it out regardless although from what I read, if you have personal experience with Alzheimers, it may be a difficult movie to watch.

'RV' with Robin Williams and Jeff Daniels - Pretty funny movie...I have this DVD in my rig!

'The Big Trailer' with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez (from the 1950's and black & white, but covers stuff we still confront today!

"The Long, Long, Trailer" Is a great movie. When I brought my first camper home, my DW had not seen it yet and came running inside in a flurry started opening every cabinet, closing it, and moving to the next. I asked her what the heck she was doing, she stopped looked at me and said, I am looking for places to put my rocks!

Watch the movie and you will understand why I cried while laughing.

That reminds me that I just had to move a box of rocks off of the sofa so that I could change the valves on the water heater. She collects them to paint them & glue them together to make different things, flower, butterfly, etc.

You might want to add "Lost in America" to your list.

Good one. And if you want scary RV movies, try "Race with the Devil" and "The Hills Have Eyes."

Here's one that I haven't seen for a long time. Popped up on the classic movie channel the other day.
