WOW! No...never. We love our Anderson levelers. Was there something under it that may have created a stress point?

Have you contacted Anderson to see what they say?

I do not recall anyone posting about a broken one,

Was/is the ground hard and dry?

Likely not enough give, the leveler's are not flat.

Keep the parts, take pictures and write a nice "help me" email to customer service including the pictures.

My Anderson jack broke and they responded quickly and shipped a new one to the address I provided in my email.

Wow, I guess I should prepare for that to happen one day, though do far no issues, and I use them ALL the time, even right out front of the house on the asphalt/concrete.

I believe Andersen recently took the position of free lifetime warranty on all their products.

It's always best to look at the OP's post. Might help with recommendations and comments.

I did, but thanks for the suggestion just the same.

IMG, the ground LOOKS dry and hard as the wood sitting on top.

Because I am not there I ASK a simple question, do you have a problem with that?

It just appeared to me that to ask if the ground was hard and dry maybe you hadn't looked at the OP's picture. Whether the ground is soft or hard and dry seemed to me to be a moot point being as the Anderson is positioned on, what appears to be, a short 2X6. I have probably jumped in with non applicable questions and comments on a few occasions myself and when called to my attention I don't take it as a derogatory or demeaning remark. Didn't mean to step on anybody's toes. I apologize if that makes you feel better.

Anderson will probably send you a new one under warranty. They look pretty strong but the combination of a heavy RV (with an 8-bolt rim, I would guess you have a UVW over 10K) and a flat surface (the board), the tire put too much bending force on either side of the void space (and there may have been a weakness in the casting at just the wrong place). So far I've never used mine on a board, always directly on the ground where there is better load distribution, because I've never needed more lift than the levelers could provide.
