Another 2109s owner added today!

Super day today.

After spending months researching, we settled on a 2109s as the trailer we wanted. I was thinking I had probably missed the window for getting a good "winter" price but we still went out today to see one in person. We have only one Forest River dealer within 100 miles and it was right in town.

Long story short, they only had two but one was exactly the one we wanted down to the color of the leather like couch and tank heaters!

The salesman told me the asking price, I gave him a counter offer, (about 26% less), he checked with the sales manager and suddenly we were buying our first travel trailer! We even got a 6 year extended warranty thrown in and they also included a second battery. I was totally shocked! They could have easily had us over the barrel being there was no close competition.

We pick up our baby next Friday and man am I like a kid at Christmas!

I really appreciate this site and it's great members, y'all helped this day happen, thank you!

congratulations on your new rig, no matter how nice the dealer has been do a very detailed inspection, if you are not sure get someone who know trailers to do the inspection with you, don't depend on the sales person.

Yes sir, thanks... I'm gonna make them show me everything works! I'll be taking pictures of anything I find that's not right too. They will probably be glad when I finally leave!

You're going to love it. The Mini lite 2109S was our first and only last year purchased the 2502KS for more room. It was a great decision.

Congratulations on your new camper! I love that floorplan. Easy access to the bathroom and bed without opening the slide in case you have to make an unexpected stop for rest. Enjoy!

Awesome! We bought a 2017 2109S in October 2016? LOVE it! You will have a blast. We've had no issues at all besides my idiocy. Just plan to shore up the fresh water tank and that is it. Congratulations on a great buy!

The 2109s is the most awesome camper for two people ever. We have been camping in ours for two years and have found nothing we don't like. Enjoy!

Most people have video recording capability on their cell phones and I would encourage you to do a video recording of your walk through at the dealer's. Taking pictures is good, but, hearing the comments from the dealer as they go through with your questions is very helpful - even if you only listen to it once or twice. If they talk about something that is hard to see move your phone in for a close-up to make sure he/she points out exactly what is being talked about and don't shut off the recording until the end of the whole tour. It is quick and easy to do and you will be glad you did after you get home. Happy camping!

DW and I just got ours last June. Have done 5 trips so far and have encountered zero problems. Some sites water and electricity only, some full hookups.
