Another Rear Slide Question.....

I know that this question has been asked many times before and I have read a lot of the previous post but most of them are talking about manual real slides and not electric ones(ours is electric).

My question is: Can you sleep on the rear bed with the slide in? To me it doesn't seem sturdy enough by just putting my hand on it and pushing down with a little weight. That got me to thinking about how much it bounces when we travel.

Does anyone have any diy supports that they have made to place between the bottom of the slide and the floor while in transit? I thought if I could make something then we might could sleep on it with it in. We probably won't need to stop somewhere and sleep with it in while traveling because we don't go to far away from home but I read where it is better to sleep on the slide with it in during colder weather. I could see where it wouldn't get as cold in the slide without the sides being exposed to the cold.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

P.S. We have the interior supports that came with the camper that you place between the slide and the interior wall. Do they help a lot with the bouncing while traveling?
