another woops moment

I winterized the camper weeks ago emptied water heater low point drains put antifreeze through lines.Oh yes i forgot the city water connection.Just took the little screen off hit button and antifreeze shot out this morning. This wasnt in the manual and i just happened to see it on here while scrolling through forums this morning. I personally have never used the city water connection but im assuming the dealer tested it when we got it about two months ago.Its already snowed here and had a sustained temp below freezing for a long while. Could the city water pipe be cracked?

Did you blow the line out before pumping in the antifreeze? If not, then I would check the city water line going in, maybe disconnect it & drain it.

If you got "pink" when you pressed the check valve and it stopped coming out when you let go; everything is fine.

I would say you're fine. If there was enough pressure to shoot antifreeze out when you pushed the valve stem, it must be in one piece still.

Slow down Herk, and give the rest of us a chance...

Thanks everyone. It shot out about 2 feet and got all over me i was standing in front expecting it to just run out.I did it again and it shot again so it has good pressure. Is there a panel i can remove to.check?Would it be the one near the bathtub thatis about lined up with the inlet from the outside

I would not worry about it. Many, and I mean many, do not know about this button. On my previous RV, I owned if for 2 years and never knew about the button. Never had any problems.
