Any 8298WS Owners

Anyone own a Rockwood 8298WS? I love the floor plan and was wondering pros and cons with this model.

Only thing I do not like are you can't get in the refer on stops and also the split awnings when it rains, but it is a livable floor plan when open.

With my 8280ws I can not get inside refer when parked without sending the slide out either, that isn't so bad. Is the split awning that much of a factor in the rain? I would think there is plenty of room under the main awning no?

the problem with the split awning is the rain with being at the door. Every time you go in or out you will get wet, and you just can't leave the door open during the rain and use your screen door.

Ahh understood. That is a bummer being that it seems it rains every time I camp.

Wait a minute.. The 2018 8298ws doesn't have the split awning and the door is centered under it. Am I missing something here? The 8299BS has a split awning and I can see what you are saying about the rain.

No worries. Take a look at the 8298WS, it is a very nice floor plan.
