Any advice for a newby - need to change out Scissor Jacks
Hey - have a grey wolf 29BH.
I did search the forum but couldn't see any recommendations on best types of scissor jacks.
Any recommendations would be great .
Thanks in advance.

I have good luck with BAL Jack's. Added two to help stabilize. They seem well build and sturdier than the cheap ones GW put on stock.

Just make sure you're NOT using them to level, only for stabilization

Scissor jacks at Walmart, $19 each 3K capacity, add two extra jacks in front of the axles and lift that puppy as much as you want. Others will chime in worried about frame warping or clearance issues but four of those Torin scissors jacks from Wally World will let you change a tire, as on my 10,000 lb 5er rear kitchen.

=================
lets remember that you have a 5th wheeler and their frames are heavier than trailer frames. A trailer frame can twist quite easily.
Happy trails,

Located in front of front axle is another electric rear stabilizer jack, modified to fit, by OC.

I purchased these 30" scissor Ultra-Fab Products (48-979031) 30" Scissor Jack with Crank Handle, (Pack of 2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0050EFRIG..._rVgwxbPQ44V83 jacks after doing a over/under conversion. They are rated at 6500 lbs and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm thinking of purchasing another set for front

I used the Ultra Fab 24" jacks as my midship jacks. They were like $60 off of etrailer shipped. When installing them, extend them and it makes them so you don't have to hold on to them. If you go with Ultra, just beware that they are reverse thread.
