anyone else experience this ?

I have a 2017 29 XLR and the grey tank drain pipe sits directly above the axle. When hitting bumps the axle rubs against the grey tank drain pipe, Eventually the pipe will wear through. I brought it to my local shop they put a rubber boot on the pipe, but to me this isn't a fix just a band aid, the shop called FR and they said it wasn't a design problem ? Anyone experience this or have any suggestions?

Our galley tank drain runs above the axles as well, but it's supported above them enough that it doesn't rub. They used conduit clamps and brackets to support it along the route.

I wish there was enough room to do that as my trailer has 2 grey tanks and this comes from the second one right above the axle with no wiggle room. I think its just a bad design flaw.

Anyone else

Did you look under camper before you bought it? If you would've seen the issue I would have moved on to a different model

I did actually look under the camper before purchase, but it didn't appear like it could be an issue as there is a little wiggle room between the pipe and the axle. Its just not enough wiggle room !

If replumbing is not an option, then perhaps putting an additional 1-2 in lift into the axles would?
