Anyone Watch Live PD tonite??

Just watched a segment of Live PD tonight and they were responding to an accident scene. Apparently a person was being pursued towing a 37 foot Alpine 5'er! Made a last second decision to make a turn and ended up flipping it on its side! Tow vehicle looked like a Ford Super Duty dually!

WOW! What a shame!!!

I didn’t see that, but sounds humorous sorta.

Good news for ford owners. Another parts truck available to keep ya going another day. [emoji12]

Was this on last night's episode? (7/13/18) I recorded it, but haven't watched yet.
Thanks.

The owner spotted him and alerted police where he was. She was on-site on phone arranging for tow after he rolled it. He was being put on back board, looked pretty messed up. Think he tried to run initially, guess the severity of injuries manifested after adrenaline rush wore off.

The fact that a thief drove away with the truck and trailer was scarier to me than the wreck. Besides that, what kind of idiot would try to outrun the cops in a pickup towing a 5th wheel?

It's pretty-well acknowledged that most criminals aren't among the brightest examples of the human race.

I would not be surprised if that rig is totaled. One of our FRF members rolled a 5er awhile back and totaled the trailer. I am not sure but I think the truck may have been totaled on that one too. Even if it wasn't totaled. I would not want it back after that game.

the fifth wheel definitely looked totaled. I totaled our last trailer (32'6") when the trailer tires hit the edge of the road going downhill on a curve on a wet road (no margins.....it was just road then gravel) and the trailer started to fishtail. Couldn't get it back under control and then it jack-knifed and drove the truck in a complete 180 before the trailer flipped on it's side. The outside didn't look all that bad (definitely nothing compared to the fifth wheel on last night's episode) but the inside was a disaster. I wouldn't have wanted them to fix it as I would have had issues with the structural integrity.
