Are 2 H2O filters better than 1?

We presently use "City Water" when hocked up and are using a 3M Aqua-Pure 110T w AP110 Filter (Dirt, Rust and Sediment - 5 micron - Flow Rate 8 GPM max) at the water bib along with a brass pressure regulator set at 45pis. The TT has a WaterPur system but no filter (KW1) in it. City Water appears to travel through the WaterPur canister and was wondering would it be wise to add another filter to help eliminate other possible contaminants or would the additional filter bring water flow down to a trickle?
What's your thinking on this?

Your main filter is capable of 8 gal/min. Unless you have pulled out the water limiters in the faucets, showers, toilets, washing machine, dishwasher, and then they are all running at the same time, you won't use 8 gal/min.

I run a charcoal filter cartridge in the in house filter so that any water being used from the fresh water tank is filtered but I still filter the water when I put it in the tank.

I also use an inline charcoal filter at the hose bib when hooked to city water to protect the plumbing system.

Maybe, I leave the in house one in because I'm lazy, or maybe I leave it in because I can live with the water flow I get out of the faucets with it in.

I am camping and thus minimize water usage regardless of whether it is "free" or I have to fill my fresh water tank.

You will never know if you can live with the water pressure unless you add a filter. You will also never realize how much better the water tastes once it goes through a charcoal filter until you have tasted it that way.

Now if you never use anything but bottled water for drinking, coffee, tea, or cooking, all bets are off.

Short Answer: you want 2. A sediment filter and a Carbon filter.

The whole house filter on your camper is most likely specific to Forest River and you have to buy their filters in order for them to fit properly (at least on our Coach)
