Articca Thermistor Repair Kit for Dometic Fridge

Has anyone ever seen or installed one of these adjustable Articca repair kits?

The slider type thermistor in our Dometic refrigerator is a real pain, never stays in place, slides down when traveling or frequently gets bumped out of adjustment.

I have been looking at adjustable thermistors, they are out there, but I do not want the one with the thermistor in series.

I did more research on this thermistor repair kit. There are quite a few videos on Youtube on how easy it is to install and over 200 people that gave positive reviews about it and none that are negative, in the past year.

So, I ordered one directly from the company that sells them, Snip-the-Tip, for $27.50. I'll post an update after I install and try it.
