At A loss for words

They totaled my wildcat! Went 5500 miles on a trip, replaced the tires before I left and put a flex air king pin on the wildcat and now all is lost. One tree hanging down and a total loss. Looking to move up to a class C.

That Stinks, last year I hit a low branch and took out my sky light, any further to the left and my roof would have been gone. I got lucky or unlucky depending on how you look at it.

Sorry to hear!
Not sure what kind of weight you're accustomed to carrying but be sure to check the cargo carrying capacity of any Class C you look at.

My wife and I aren't the skinny 150 lb average the rv industry uses for number of people that can be carried. Ours has seat belts for 6, yet if we gain another 10 lbs collectively, just the two of us will exceed our front axle weight rating!

We carry as little as necessary and are running at only 60 lbs shy of the maximum GVWR of 14,600 lbs. with full propane, gasoline and 10 gallons of fresh water.

I'm in the process now of unloading anything else were carrying, but have not used or needed, before our next trip.
Cleaning out the toad also.

Class C

My biggest problem is I do not want a bunk over the cab. Entertainment cent only.

Sorry for the loss of your Wildcat.

Take a look at the Coachmen Concord. No front bunk over the driver/passenger area.

Stuff happens. That's why we have insurance. Insurance is one of those commodities we pay for, but hope we never use. Kind of ironic. All is not lost. The Wildcat can be replaced, human life can't.

We think we would've liked the overhead bunk vs the entertainment center we got. I'm convinced it is the reason we are front heavy before the 2 of us ever climb in the cab. Wishing you good luck in your search for the right fit!

Yeah, looks like nice entertainment center and some storage over the cab. Saw one in campground where we are now and looked it up. They seem very nice.

Yes and we love ours. Years back we had a moho bunk and it was a catch all for "stuff". Our 283GTS is perfect for a couple (and a big dog).

Sorry for your bad luck.
