NOPE - we have them in our coach and a stink bug was caught crawling on the wall right next to where one was plugged in

We’ve had them for three years now at my home in northern Illinois. They snuggle up in every window and door frame. Was just outside cleaning the camper, and sure enough, found a few in the gap of the windows. At least they are easy to catch and don’t run from the vacuum. I’ve tried many cleaning techniques, some save vinegar helps keep them away. I tried vinegar last spring, I see less of them now, but who knows...

We had the little buggers everywhere in our TT on a recent trip to North IL.
And brought a few home.
I was encouraged by the post explaining a natural predator, a tiny (size of a pin head, too tiny) wasp. I though if I could place small plastic replicas or stickers of the wasp strategically around the trailer it might work as a deterrent. But evidently this wasp lays its eggs in the stink bug egg pods and the pods reproduce wasp not stink bugs. An estimated 2 year eradication plan.
But the article (video) I found did show a praying mantis knawing on these dreaded intruders. Maybe....??

I'm also in northern Illinois. But I don't stink bugs, I get box elder bugs:



They get in the house and they apparently can live for months with nothing to eat. We'll find them in the basement next spring. At least they don't stink and they don't really hurt anything.

We got hit with them last October at a Rally and we were STILL finding the darn things here and there 4 months later!

I swear they must go dormant, hide some place and wake up every 60 days or so!!

Yup, we started to get ready to head south a week or so ago, it was cold -20F, when we opened the rig to pack. Guess what was all over the floor, 30 or more maybe dead, maybe sleeping stink bugs. We find a couple more each day, although it seems to be tailing off now. They were probably under the slide seals and made their way in when we closed up. The DW disposed of them by putting the paper towel in a plastic bag and then stepped on them...she wanted to be sure.[emoji4]

Yup we still find dead ones every time we open up our's. I've come to the conclusion that we will never get rid of them.
