Question Auto Level and X-Chocks

Do you auto level and then put your X-Chocks on or put them in before you auto level?

That's kinda why I asked. Mine are so close that I have to have the X-Chocks almost retracted all the way in to stick em in. Not sure if that causes stress when auto leveling.

I use a couple of bricks then auto level it then kick the bricks in tighter against the tires. I like the x chocks but can't see spending the money on them.
