Awning attachment thing

Hi All,

I have a broken awning ball-and-socket attachment thing, where the upper awning pole connects to the roof, on my Flagstaff 625D. I have been searching high and low, but since I do not know the proper name of it, I am having one helluva time finding one. Does anyone know where I might find a replacement?
It snaps into the socket in the picture:

Thanks in advance

I am assuming you have a Dometic Trim Line awning. If so, it is a ball end base. I think they are the same for all Trim Lines. Look here http://edometic.com/allusr/sp.nsf/cv?OpenView&Start=1&Count=25&Expand=2.3#2.3 for your awning (length x color) and then look at the parts diagram.

Awning part

Sorry, I failed to mention that is is a Trim Line (didn't know it was made by Dometic). The parts list does show the base, but I need the ball that snaps into that which, for some reason, in not listed. You definitely have me on the right track though. I will call the 800 number Monday and see what I come up with.

Thank you!
