Bad STL weather predicted.

I just checked online for today's weather outlook. I was shocked by the Threat Information regarding Hail. I think that will go through my roof and possible the floor. Apple Size? Really?

The bad thing is, it may hail and storm. The good thing is weather forecasters are wrong about 50% of the time....

I don't have much faith in weather forecasters. If I go out and get wet, I know it's raining. If I get bopped on the head with an ice ball, it's hailing. If the deck is white, it's snowing and if it's sunny out, it's all good.

Ah yes, However during bad weather my DW turns into a trembling mess. I have seen dogs handle storms better than she does.

Is that why she is also named Wobbles?

When we were coming home from MD this past weekend we had marble sized hail and it sounded like the windshield was going to explode.

When you live in tornado prone areas, you do get a little gun shy.....

I'd say they're wrong about 75% of the time.

Just came through the tail end of it in Western Arkansas. Passed over now, finally.

We were in a little boat fishing. We lived. Fish didn't.

Stay safe! It's just end of February. March, April, etc.......will be worse.

We've been in hail that actually fully penetrated the roof, broke all the windows on rv and pickup, dented the entire truck body, and soaked everything inside and out. Until then I'd never actually seen baseball sized hail but I now am a believer. No fun and the rv and truck will never be the same. If we'd not been forewarned by the weather service we would have been away from any shelter and I'm convinced we'd have been hurt. Hope you don't get the weather...

I miss living in The Lou, but not tonight. I'll have to call and check in on family tomorrow. If you get an apple sized hail ball, get a picture. I may have my son throw one in the freezer.

The Arch has been doing it's job tonight, splitting the weather. Everything so far has gone north or south. Your hometown is just wet...

Thanks, Wobbles. The fam can handle wet. Giant hail balls from heaven just don't sound like my cup of tea.

We got serious hail at the house, 7 miles away was dry as a bone.

We were meeting some friends for dinner, and after I got off work, I realized that I left the slides out on the camper from Monday night. So I raced like a jet home trying to beat the storm. The rain started in earnest when I was about a mile from the house. About 2 blocks from the house, the hail started. I was sitting in the driveway, watching 1/2 to 3/4 inch hail falling on everything I own, and hoping the windshield of the car would hold up.

After about 2 minutes of some serious crap, the hail stopped, but the rain intensified. I ran and reefed in the slides. Its only 15 feet from the car to the camper and I was soaked through. Went over to meet our friends and it hadn't rained a drop over there. Go figure.

No apparent damage done. I'll give it a good look-see tonight

We got a lot of rain up here north of Toledo, at least 1.5" but no solid rain. Everything is flooded and muddy and it's supposed to get colder and snow later on. How nice.

We got enough small hail to make it look like it snowed here. Maybe 15-20 minutes of rain with hail for 3-4 minutes.

I know that one camper was on the highway when the tornado went through and it was demolished. Couldn't tell anything about it from the late news as it was dark. Hope everyone is okay
