Banging noise

2019 Forester. Well, another RV mystery solved. Driving down the road, banging sound from the rear of the motorhome. Spouse says it coming from the cooktop vent hood. Get to campsite and check vent hood, all good. I say it is the cans in the refrigerator and secure them with pillowcase on next trip. Same noise. I was wrong! Turns out the outside vent cover for the vent hood was not secured and was banging on the side of the RV. Dealer rep said it did not secure and was meant to be loose. BS, it has securing clips. Shows what they know. Score one for the spousal unit!👍👍. We now have a quiet ride, thank goodness. You never know what the dealer does not know until you figure it out yourself.

Always fun until you loose one of those flaps. [emoji15]

My outside vent cover is to far from the ground to open and close so it stays open all the time. My microwave came from the factory with the motor blowing inside, I dropped the microwave and turned the motor around so it would blow outside
