We bought a 3 foot round BBQ grate from Walmart that I place over our fire pit. Does the trick. It has collapsible legs.

Barbeque Pit

Google mini WSM. I made one, cost about $75 total. It can be used as a grill or smoker. Very light and easy to transport. I can sear a steak or smoke a Boston butt. 10 hours on one load of charcoal if I'm smoking. If I'm grilling one load will last two or three cookings. Of course BBQ pit means something different in the south than other parts of the country so you may not be interested lol.

Sorry...it's not quite 3 ft and it was not Walmart, it was Lowes. Here is a link

Barbeque Pit

Gmg portable smoker "Davey Crockett"
Smoke and grill all in one!
Temp ranges from 150 degrees to 500 degrees
Weighs 68 lbs.
We take it every time we camp.
As a matter of fact I entered a amateur grill off last weekend for our local park days and won first place in ribs and overall winner for ribs and pork loin.

I agree with Turbs, also have the Davey Crockett for the motorhome and also have the Daniel Boone for the patio at home. Have been dealing with Green Mountain Grills for about 5 years. Good product and great customer service.

No affiliation other than a satisfied customer.

I just use the tiny Coleman gas grill that came with my RV's camp kitchen.

We like charcoal cooking on a Weber Smokey Joe. It's light weight, lid locks down and easy to transport. For just us two, it's all we really need. We also use a dutch oven when we want stews, breads or desserts. We also have a portable fire pit we can take if we want a fire if there's no pit available at the camp site. Most campgrounds will allow them.

We went to the Weber Jumbo Joe this year for a little more room. Very pleased, but I wouldn't want to try competing against TURBS and his medal winning Davey Crocket.

X2 on the Weber Jumbo Joe...
I like some foods better on charcoal with a little smoking wood. Just me.

We have a gas grill on the back, but usually bring along a few other options.

Kamado Joe Jr handles all of the grilling and low and slow needs.

The Blackstone Griddle usually gets the workout for breakfast or cheese steaks.

Depending on the length of stay, we may leave the Kamado at home and bring the Weber Smokey Joe.

I have one similar to this, except it's a Kenmore. Love it! Before it I had a charcoal-fired vertical water smoker that I had to stay up all night feeding it charcoal every hour. Hated it! For day-to-day grilling I use a Jumbo Joe.

We haul this around occasionally. The best rib cooker I have, even beats out my competition Backwoods smoker.
