We would like to add a full length mirror to our bathroom door. It would be facing the interior (outside face) not the bathroom. Has anyone ever mounted one. Need to know what type of mirror (cheap, inexpensive, etc.) and method of attachment. Thanks.

When we bought a mirror to replace our sliding closet doors in the bedroom due to a "mistake" - we bought mirrors that had safety backing. I guess it helps keep it together when it breaks (our "oops" reflected that).
I'd go to a glass shop and buy a custom-cut mirror to hang so that you can spec it to have the safety backing. Our 3' x 4' mirror or whatever it was, was only $120 or something like that mounted back into the original frame it came out of.

We got one of those lightweight full length mirrors from Walmart for like $5 or $6 bucks and mounted it on our bedroom wall with 3M Command Velcro strips. Works fine for us and has never fallen during travel.
