Battery Boxes - HM300BKS box for Group 24

Advice please
I have a Cherokee T274RK travel trailer with 2 NoCo battery boxes but recently found them filled with water from our recent rains.

Should I purchase a sealed battery box or is it ok that rain gets in sometimes?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Randy

X2, I have battery boxes in my boat as well as the travel trailer. Holes are drilled in the bottoms of both. Works great. Simple fix, and better yet its a cheap fix.
