battery switch

I had a switch added to my battery terminal. when you open the switch the cover wont go back over the switch when it is open. if you try to replace the battery cover with the switch open the terminals get pressed together and defeats the entirepurpose of the switch. since i didnt have much time I just removed the wire from the battery terminal.

any one have a similar problem or fix

thanks

Battery switch

I assume you have the knife switch with a lever that you open or close to disconnect one of the battery terminals. Walmart sells a battery disconnect switch that you put on the negative terminal. It has a small knob that you turn that disconnects the battery. This doesn't increase the height of the terminal to the point that you cannot put the cover back on. Price about $5.
