Best caulk for exterior 5th wheel

I have a 19' Sabre 30rlt and use dicor on the roof, no complaints there. The caulking on the sides is needing to be replaced soon. What do you all use that will last the longest? Also, what is the best way to strip off the old caulk to prevent damage? Thank you for your input.

I personally use Lexel caulking. It sticks to about anything (except silicone) and is paintable, and can be removed if needed.

I use a plastic putty knife to scrape off old caulking. It's good at getting it off. However, if it's silicone you'll need to scrub it off so anything else will stick (silicone included).
