Best GPS for Motor Home in 2019?

I have a Georgetown 369DS we just purchased and a Mini Cooper toad, so getting in the wrong road is high on my avoidance priorities. What GPS do you use and do you like it and why? Other posts on this topic are 1 to 2 years old and the technology is changing constatnly so I thought I ask for updated trends! Thanks!

I bought a garmin Rv 660lmt few months might be 6 months backs the most commendable benefits of this GPS system is the fact that it allows easy route shaping.this means you can modify your route with ease

Thanks. I needed to make a fairly quick decision, so I bought the Garmin RV 770. It was a balance between price and features and hope it works out!

We have the 770 as well.

The only issue we have run into is transferring from their map utility - brings over all the waypoints and not the whole trip. Could be I need to read the manual also 🤣

For navigation once we setup our coach specs it has worked quite well for us.

We don’t use the traffic tie to our phones as we also have Waze running etc to keep an eye on things like that.

I'm currently on a 7 week trip to the Pacific NW and bought the Garmin RV 780 before we left and really like it. As a previous poster noted the Route Shaping is a great feature and I do use the Live Traffic feature as well. I find it is the easiest to use GPS unit I've owned. I bought a telescopic dash mount and sun shade off Amazon that have worked out extremely well too. The RV 770 you bought may not have the Live Traffic, but should have the Route Shaping.

The 770 does have the live traffic if you link to your phone.

Can’t say how it works for that since, as noted previously, we use waze for the traffic and other issues with n the road.

Diddo on the 770, but I also use google maps on my phone. I have not linked my phone to the GPS, I'll have to figure that out and try it

Our 770 is easy to use but the routing sometimes is poor at best. Case in point, KOA in Bristol TN. We are on I-81 northbound. 770 takes us past the exit 3 miles to exit and backtracks through the hills and dales on narrow roads about 5 miles back to the KOA located only a mile from the first exit with with wider roads and the KOA signs to directing.

I threw my magellan (for RV) in the trash after the first trip, don't remember model. Bought a Garmin and never looked back!

With Google maps now able to work offline, why do you still need a separate GPS?

I loved Google Maps when I had a pull behind. With a much larger motor home, I now have height concerns Google maps wont take into consideration. Garmin RV 770 will.
