Best way to sell new Forest River Mini Lite

I just bought a new Mini Lite about a month ago and I've decided to sell. I should have known that I can't take my dogs to a RV Park or State Park without having them on a leash the whole time. I recently went to a wedding where it rained (hard) the entire time so I had to keep the dogs in trailer the whole time.

I love my Mini Lite but I'm going to sell after traveling about 600 miles. Can anyone tell me the best way to do this. I've never used craigslist but I'm thinking that's the way to go. Trouble is I live in a small town.

Any advice?

You can post an advertisement in the classified section here. Click on Classifieds at the top of the page and look at some examples.

If you want to use craigslist list it on the nearest larger cities.

Be ready to take a royal beating on the price. Most buyers can purchase new and get a warranty, which is not transferable, as well as 30-35% off the list price if they negotiate a bit. Selling a unit that's one month old might mean 40% or more off the "list" price. If you bought it right you can sell it right. If you didn't and need to recover your money it won't be easy to compete with a dealer...

RVtrader.com is another possibility. When we started the search for our current rig we did a lot of research on there. Also see if there is a dealer nearby that would sell it on consignment. Regardless you are going to take a hit on it.

Your dogs are probably laying around day dreaming about taking another camper trip, surely you would have some nice weather trips now and then, I would give it a few more tries considering how much of a beating you are going to take on selling it.

I think the reason for selling is the dogs. does not like having to put on leash. Part of camping got abide by rules. Yep you will take a hit on camper. Later RJD

Did you at least ask your dealer about selling it for you?
What about trading up to something larger??
Kennel for the dogs on rainy weekends....

Sounds like you didn't think this one through. It might cost you but if
you want out you can get out.
As others have said- RV trader with a phone number filter so calls go
thru them on the way to you.

The time to sell it is NOW so if this is your decision you need to get on it!
Good Luck!

I feel your pain about the State Parks and C/G rules requiring dogs on a Leash! Most wedding require the same hard rule! Lots of RVers take dogs with them so selling a unit should Not be a issue! Youroo!!
