Bike rack question

Does anyone know if the bumper of a Sierra 371 REBH will safely hold a 4 bike, hitch mount?

Don't try it. Our bumper is rated at 250 lbs but once those bikes start bouncing you'll more than likely rip the bumper off.

We use a Curt front mount hitch on our truck with a Swagman XC bike rack. Very solid and our bikes are where I can see them.

I was weary of the bumper mount on my 2016 freedom express so i opted for the Bike bunk (over the propane tanks) and the Aero VeeMe V2 2-Bike Rack. i was concerned about the turning radius with my expedition. i was worried about turning and blowing out the back glass of my truck but so far so good. and the install was quick and easy. hardest part setting the bike rack up for each bike.

I know you didn't ask for alternatives but another option to consider is a roof rack. I only carry two full size bikes (little one rides on Thule Ridealong) but Rhino Rack had options for my truck. Not sure what your TV is... and I'm a tall guy so accessing the roof is not a problem. I ended up with a roof basket so its pretty quick off and on. No problems in 6 trips.

There are rack mounts that can be mounted on the front of a 5th wheel.

I don't know if you used your factory installed bike hitch yet but I will tell you it won't handle any weight. I put my bike carrier in it with 2 bikes and it bounces up and down VERY EASY!!!! I would not even leave my driveway with it like that, I GUARANTEE I would have broke something!!!! That was a waste of $150

Found out my Cherokee bumper wasn't up to the task.

The bumper was pulling away from the frame.

had to weld bumper back to frame gusset and brace.

Hasn't moved since.
