Bird nest in 5er

This may be old news but when I had my 5er I had birds build nest in the hitch area. Anybody else encounter this? What I did was cut a piece Styrofoam insulation and wedge it in to cover the opening in the hitch. Later RJD

Oh, yes! I tied a couple of plastic Wal*Mart bags across the opening.

Yes, went out to check the rig last month and found all of sticks and twigs up inside the hitch and surrounding areas . Got as much out as I could including eggs that broke. Sorry not a bird killer but was heading out for the weekend at the time. Felt real bad. Thanks for the snake idea.

Better put screens over the heater vents also. I have seen birds build nests in there and that could cause a BIG problem the next time you use the heater.
