Booking Done!!

Spent two hours yesterday completing all my bookings from February through September! I waited too long and didn't get all the coastal trips I wanted, but managed to book one week long, and then a week at Detroit Lake so I can see what it is like as I have never been there.

I have now committed to anywhere from 2-10 days each month until October!

I love living in Oregon so I can go all year long! Next weekend is the first of many!!

I did this December 2015 for those that booked for 2016 and on 1-4-2016 for those who only book in 2016 for 2016, have one floating trip left to book and I should be booked out for 2016 April to November

I have spring and summer booked out already, finished about a month ago. The fall will be a few easy trips at our membership resort. We can't book those until 60 days out.

Ah Thousand Trails members also

I hate that as one of the restrictions of booking when your up against Outdoor World Members with zero restrictions.

TT tried to get me to buy more every year but I am sticking with my 2 Zone 30 Nights for less than the cost of One Zone.

We also have most of ours done. The big challenge was we will be traveling over July 4th, and many CG's have a 3 night minimum. Took lots of calls but got it done.
We are also waiting to make reservations for AL FROG rally.

Nope, not thousand trails. We are travel resorts of America/coast to coast members.

Travel resorts of America (TRA) is a lot smaller than TT, they have something like 6 parks now, 1 in FL, 1 in the NC (the flagship resort), 1 in Gettysburg, 2 in OH and a new acquisition in NY. They partner with coast to coast (C2C) who is very large and works with many different membership groups including TT and encore resorts. We purchased a membership at sycamore lodge in 2011. We love the campground and still go there all the time but it us getting harder and harder to get a good site as they are selling too many memberships these days. They have several membership levels and that is part of the issue. You can get a package that allows you to book 30, 60, or 90 days prior to your stay. You can customize by deleting things like cabin stays etc. My best advice, buy resale. You can find them for just the transfer fee. We are having membership card issues currently. A couple years ago they decided to change their membership cards to a photo ID. No biggie except you had to go yo a presentation to get them. We drove 30-40 min to the closest location and sat through the stupid thing, had our pics taken and never got our new id's. I have spent 3 years trying to sort this out. I hear everything from, "we switched companies and can't get those records so you will have to do it again" to "talk to corporate, we can't help you", to "just email us a picture and we will send you a new ID." I even tried to set up an appointment for the presentation and was told they weren't scheduling at that time. . As a new member, this shouldn't be an issue for you.

You have to pay a separate yearly dues to C2C. C2C will get you cheap stays at lots of campgrounds but their may be some blackout dates, you can't pick your site and or you may not be able to get a FHU site. You must have a home resort to be a member of C2C . Many campgrounds have blackout dates. For example I can't use my C2C rates to stay at Camp Hatteras in NC on holiday weekends but any other weekend I'm paying $10/night instead of $90/night. They do have a lot of campgrounds.

We have some of our fall trips booked and Memorial Day weekend and summer was booked last July but kind of in a holding pattern. The DWs father is having some very serious health issues so can't plan the spring at all...... yet anyway... may change some of our other plans as well.......
