Oh join the winter blues club! Yes you are correct when it is home is dose make it worse, but you have to look at it on the positive side, (you are not paying for storage, you have quick access to the rv, you can do maintenance any time you like) and more. But tyes the end of camping for so many (me included) is a very sad and disturbing time of year. But Happy Camping will come with the warmth of the spring so just wish a little harder for spring and it will come.

Likewise in Northern California we camp year round too. Forecast is for more drought thus no rain while camping. (Always a silver lining )

re: Boy, did I make a mistake?

Got the TT parked in the side yard all hooked up to the 30Amp I installed last year when I had the pad paved. I see it when I drive out in the morning and return home at night. Sneak into it when the noise gets too loud in the house (13 year old daughter). It's so nice and peaceful for a nice read and nap. I don't think I'd want it anywhere else.

Haven't winterized in the last 9 yrs, we got to FL and will be leaving in a couple of weeks if the temperature stays in the 40's during the day, otherwise, we are scheduled to leave 21Nov for Fawn Ridge in Davenport, FL

Loneeagle: just turn on the heat and camp in it. We do it every. Feb at Myrtle Beach. Then re-winterize before you leave.
