Finally!!

I feel all your pain!
After several winters looking out the window at a winterized RV we are finally in a position to take her south for the worst of it. We will escape for 10 weeks starting mid December. Getting the car set up for flat towing next week. We may not be able to do this every year, but this year we are getting out of Dodge.

Mine is winterized in an RV compound at a Base near us. However, next Oct it is going south for the month. Then storage til after NYs. DW and I will drive south, live in the TT and travel from FL to TX, perhaps to AZ. Been looking forward to this all my life.

Of course, I should have added that. It's the Columbia Riverfront RV park. 1881 Dike Rd, Woodland, WA. 360.225.2227.

Give them a call to see if they have any openings. It's a two day reservation. Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun. Ships come on Sat night.

Good luck, and have fun.

We did find some state parks that had some availability, but it took us a whole week to plan out 4 weekends, thanksgiving week and Christmas week. All in all we got it. I feel for you all up north, we just bought our in sept and could not imagine not being able to use it. The best part is the kids love it and that makes vacation weekends easy.

Now you know what "in season" means! Restaurants fill up etc. etc. But you still got the sun rays!
